Fr Niall Molloy was murdered on the night of the 7th/ 8th of July 1985. It’s thirty years ago, and the family still wait for Justice. A lot of well connected people in Ireland, including politicians, are well aware that justice has been denied, that a cover up has taken place, that there are people with a vested interest in concealing the truth. It says so much about Irish politics that many politicians, past and present, know the truth, but will not speak it.

Almost 2 years after the murder, RTE’s Today Tonight made an excellent programme which outlines the suppression of evidence and exposes an establishment cover up – A cover up that continues to this day, with the recent Government report on the case, shamefully refusing to show any appetite for the Truth. It is so sad that the Molloy family still await Justice after 30 years. And how sad is it that so little has changed in Irish politics in that time -  Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil...
